This map shows my path along the grade in blue. You can also see the lower part of the grade marked as "old railroad grade". I have also marked the parking area that I started from along with the steep drainage that I came back down (not recommended). I would recommend trying to use the ridge line marked possible route. Someone else suggested starting from the apartments as there is a road that goes back in and should get you to about where I started the hike. I haven't explored this route and do not know who owns the property.
