Here is a shot of 493 being pulled up to Hermosa taken by Richard Bell.  I think they will need something between those Ks before they get to the bridges on the line.  I would like to thank Scott Bell for the pictures.

Looks like we stopped in Hermosa to pick up a few hopper.  Those steel hoppers come in handy every once in a while.  When I saw 493 in Silverton I wondered what they used to pull her up there.  They had some steel frame flats next to the depot but they sure didn't look in very good shape to pull off the move.  This shot was also taken by Richard Bell and provided by Scott Bell.

Here is a shot of 493 that I took on 10th of July 1999 next to the Silverton Depot.  She shares a track with water car 0469 and the Silverton Northern Casey Jones railbus.
