Bridge 495A
The last run-by of the day occurred at bridge
495A just south of Silverton. This bridge is a usual photo spot on the various
specials that I have been a part of.
The photographers were dropped off on the south end of the bridge and the
train was then taken into Silverton to be turned on the wye. Here we catch
the glow of the firebox as the 315 heads towards town.
This is probably the best shot of the day from my camera. A scenic setting
and the train framed by smoke from the stack. A nice way to end a very
enjoyable day out on the line.
